Kayak: rebranding
During my time as a visual designer at Momkai I collaborated with Design Lead (Martijn van Dam), together we set out to create a visual language that was both flexible and effective. We took cues from existing brand references and designed elements inspired by the ripples a kayak makes as it moves through the water. These ripples also stand for the ripple effect, the idea that every action can have a bigger impact than expected. While our team worked on the visual identity and rebranding. For the new color palette, we leaned into Kayak’s nature inspired identity. We chose two primary colors, Pine and Ember, paired with a clean white and calming sand background. This case was made with Momkai.
